At Dots for, our mission extends beyond villages. When we’re not on the ground building the infrastructure to digitally connect rural communities, we’re out in the world making the connections that will shape the future. Earlier this month, Dots for team members attended MWC Barcelona, one of the world’s largest gatherings for technology and connectivity. For many of our local team members, it was an eye-opening experience—a moment that showed just how vast the world is, and how much opportunity lies ahead. But soon, this experience won’t just be for us—it will also be for the people living in villages across rural Africa. With Dots for, they too will realize that the world is much bigger in opportunities. And most importantly, they will be able to access them from their home. We are building bridges between local communities and global markets, between untapped talent and limitless potential. The world is big, but with Dots for, all “dots” are connected.

In the villages of Benin and Senegal, and soon across many African countries with limited network infrastructure, children can now dream big. Dots for is successfully making smartphones and tailored networks accessible to rural households, marking a pivotal shift. Now, children in these villages can aspire to more as they gain access to a world of educational videos, and avenues for exploration. This is all made possible through the dedication of our teams and the innovative services we continuously provide. The future is bright as we are contributing to shaping a world where every child, regardless of their surroundings, has limitless access to education, information, and knowledge. Our tailored content is carefully monitored to nurture village residents and children into knowledgeable future community leaders. Through strategic partnerships with schools, universities, and institutions, we are bringing education and knowledge right to their fingertips, overcoming geographical barriers with technology. Every day, we’re connecting the dots and, bridging the gap to inspire incredible changes on the continent and beyond. At Dots for, we  believe that transformation has no borders. What began as a bold idea in Japan has now traveled across the African continent—from Benin to Senegal and now, most recently, to Zambia. Just days ago, our team successfully installed the first DC box in Zambia. A new geography, a different rhythm—but the same mission and the same village-centered approach. We still follow the same commitment to building trust and our belief that technology, skills, and opportunity should be within everyone’s reach, no matter where they live didn't change. By expanding our reach, we’re connecting all the dots. From East Asia to West Africa and now Southern Africa, our model adapts, but our vision remains: unlock rural potential by enabling people, empowering communities, and creating access to a better future. As one school principal in Zambia shared after experiencing our DC video service: 🗣️ “I am proud that what you have developed in Benin and Senegal also works in Zambia, far away from where we are.” Crossing borders doesn’t mean changing who we are, it rather means bringing our purpose to new places, with humility, passion, and people at the center of everything.
